"What colors do you see when you hear this song?"

My brother asked me this question a few months ago when he sent me a sample of a song he was working on, which inspired me to create this piece of art featuring his song Regular Song.

In all honesty, although I tried to capture the mood and color of the song, I don't think this is an exact representation of it... More of an idea of what I saw and felt while listening to his music. Or put my interpretation of what he was communicating thru song.

His song is about not being distracted by the irregularities of daily living. Particularly the daily grind or Rat Race. Instead, appreciating the radiance and wonder in nature. While listening to the song, I felt like I was invited into his universe of light and color. Everything flowed like water. 

I wanted to capture the essence of the song while featuring something beautiful from the natural world. A fish swimming through a sea of light felt like an accurate of describing my experience while listening to my brother's song.
